"Young" girls with a BIG heart

Response letter to girls! You never know who is reading our blog!

Two former students of R.L. Young, Deanna and Karley Harrell were involved in a car accident in January.
Their mother was killed in the wreck. The oldest daughter was in the hospital for several weeks with life threatening injuries, but thankfully, she has been released from the hospital. She is in a wheelchair, but continues to recover at home. Two current students from R.L. Young, Tori P. and Hannah J. decided they wanted to do something to help the family out financially, because of the rising cost of medical bills. These girls decided to sell bracelets. They are selling bracelets that say "Stay Strong Deanna and Karley" and "Team D-M-H" and "Team K-E-H". The bracelets are $2.00 each. All the proceds from the bracelets will go to the Harrell family. If you would like to purchase a bracelet, please see Tori P. or Hannah J. in Mrs. Lamberth's homeroom each morning before 8:15am.
Great idea, girls!

  1. My son, a high school student, bought one just because he's an R.L. Young alumni, and these young ladies are R.L. Young students! So thankful he was blessed to be in R.L. Young for his elementary school years. Great job girls!!!
